Real World Technology is a technology architectural firm. We are committed to creating technological solutions focused on breaking the traditional barriers associated with digital computing.

The objective is to enable computers to function in line with the “real world.” The real world is not made up of 1’s and 0’s, but of infinite variations. In the real world, people have viewpoints and look at things from their viewpoints. Whether this be data mining or simply shopping, people have a certain way of looking at or viewing what they are doing or looking for.

Our Technology in brief

Our technology breaks the digital barrier and enables computers to “assume the viewpoint” of the end user. For example, you may be thinking “today, I want a leather jacket, burgundy, full length and costing up to $1 500. Oh, and make that an Italian brand.” In the computer world, only cold 1’s and 0’s exist and there are no viewpoints. Traditional technology at best can do a flat lookup of the online stock and if you are fortunate, you won’t see “Sorry, no stock available.”

Our technology enables a computer to look at, for example, an online store in a way which reflects your thinking. “Okay, let’s see, leather jackets, burgundy, up to around $1 500, Italian… got it!” And voila, the entire online store is changed to match your viewpoint. Change your mind and the store is instantly rearranged.

Or take our data mining technology. For the first time, a computer can “intelligently understand” the subject matter of a document or series of documents (such as a website). This technology enables a computer to assume your viewpoint and help you locate information you are seeking with speed and precision.

We have applied this technology to the internet in our Internet Visibility Services™, where a computer can calculate the content keyword phrases of a website and represent these to the search engines. The result? Search engines properly understanding your website, which means your being found. Another world-first.

The Team

Based in South Africa, Real World Technology is headed by Ian Campbell. Mr. Campbell is the creator of world-first technology which enables computers to assume the end-user’s viewpoint.
